Energy Sales Agents who provide services by visiting householders are by their very nature one of the few concrete ‘public faces’ of the energy supply companies. As such their behavior and outward show is required to be second to none, and increasingly our staff is called upon to be good Citizens. Doorstep crime, particularly rogue traders and distraction burglars, is committed on those members of society more vulnerable than most. The vulnerable and the elderly deserve to feel safe in their own home and not to be excluded from normal society and the energy suppliers fundamentally agree with these needs.
