I must admit that my observation is based on a very small unscientific sample. It could turn out to be an observation with a lot of heat, but no light! A friend of mine in Addis Ababa forwarded me e-mail exchanges among several members of EPRDF. From the way they composed their prose and the quality of their arguments, it seemed to me that most of them were well-educated.
