Medhanit Aynalem wrote to earthquake-report from Yirgalem, the town closest to the earthquake epicenter : Today March 19 ,2011 at 11:09 PM earthquake happened at yirgalem its real earth quake (shake) it didn’t cause any disaster as far as I have seen it, but everybody felt it for 4 seconds. It was the longest quake I have witnessed in my life. Everything in my house was shaking. Some books were dropped to the floor. Electric power also gone for 10 minutes .and I fell the shake at 7:57 am for 1 second again .
